Taipei, Taiwan – Ireland’s Potato

As faithful readers know, I’m always up for a good (or bad) order of Poutine, the “national dish” of Canada. Intrepid Burger report Kayoumin and I, in the past, have traveled Southern China and Hong Kong in search of the best offerings of this delightful side of fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy. We’ve had an excellent one at one of my regular old haunts, the Cul-de-Sac bar in Lan Kwai Fong neighborhood in Hong Kong (map below).

This week, Kayoumin checks in from Taipei, having stumbled upon this very smarting looking shop, called “Ireland’s Potato”, which offers a variety of variations on the prince of all tubers, including poutine. We say “Yum, Kayoumin,” and thanks for sharing (the photos). Wish we could have shared in person! Nice to wash it down with a Guiness, as well!
