Er, yeah. Imagine the comic book guy on the Simpsons saying “worst…….cheeseburger…….ever,” and you’ll know how my experience went, in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere, USA. It was me and a guy that scared the hell out of me, the only customers, the typical greasy diner waitress lady who looked like a man, and a burger that tasted right out of the Garden of Eden….if you were eating the snake.
What was surprising about the “Willie Burger” was that the ham and cheese that topped it were quite exceptional. A “fried egg” came from the same chicken McDonald’s uses for its McMuffins. The patty was a heat and eat with the requisite tattooed grill marks.
Truly awful. Pass this place by, folks, even if it’s the only place to stop for hundred of miles in the middle of the night.
