Not a full posting, but they deserve one in the future.  El Gaucho is a mini chain of premium steakhouses in the Pacific NW.  I’ve been numerous times, but never for happy hour, which is really poppin’ if you arrive any later than the time the doors open at 5pm.

We grazed the happy hour menu, but I ordered one thing from the dinner menu, Steak Tartare, getting harder and harder to find, and El Gaucho is one of the few places that has it.

It is prepared table side, in the traditional manner, and is absolutely delicious.
