Oregon is one of those places where gloves aren’t required for food handlers. I asked a few different people why, and got a variety of answers, but basically it seems to have had something to do with the worker’s rights – and their health being hampered by gloves.
Occupational hazard, I’d say.
The other nite at a restaurant, I watched four different people physically touch my food with bare hands, between the kitchen, plater, server.
Ick.
I pushed it around on my plate. I don’t want it. Thanks.
