Duluth, MN – Farleys Family Restaurant Review

Long a Duluth favorite, located on the way out of town in the adjacent burg of Hermantown, Farley’s Family Restaurant serves burgers, pizza, hot dogs and other casual fare.

Eager to expand their own universe and introduce their food to a larger base, they set about to open a downtown Duluth location, and found the perfect spot in a building formerly occupied by another local burger favorite, Mr. Nicks Charburger.

Although the eastern part of downtown has become a burgeoning restaurant mecca, the western side has been a little lacking, and Farley’s thinks they can make a go of it, staying open late, and offering local delivery.

Kawika and the Minnesota Burger Posse were there shortly after the soft opening, and unfortunately, didn’t have many kind words. They would have chalked it up to opening jitters, except for the crew is working with the same recipes and suppliers as the sibling restaurant that has been open for years.

The burger was overcooked, the bun dwarfed the meat,  the pepper cheese wasn’t,  the fries were cold.  Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln…   Farley’s Menu
