Corn Dogs?

Well, it’s the 4th of July weekend, still, so I fired up the Weber for bonus dogs and corn on the cob.   Corn, 2 for a buck?  When I lived in Iowa, it was about $3 a bushel – at a roadside stand, on the “honor system.”   No matter, these were delicious, soaked them in water for 30 minutes before 20 minutes on the grill, turning them every couple minutes.  That sad looking sausage is left over from y’day’s breakfast.    The dogs are, once again, Oscar Mayer Beef, only because with a coupon yday they were 99 cents, couldn’t pass them up.   That’s cheaper than chicken dogs.   And Nathan’s Skinless were about $6.    Which I would have paid, had they had casings!
