The old Fitgers Brewery along the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota, is the site of a pretty nice hotel, a smattering of touristy shops, and a couple of dining establishments, including “The Brewhouse.”
Minnesota Burger Reporter Kawikamedia stopped in the Brewhouse the other day with an engorged burger posse, and sampled the Red Angus burger with a slice of cheddar, extra pickles, and a side of sweet potato fries. According to the menu online, “Red” Angus is an upgrade, from the usual USDA certified Angus 1/2 pounder they usually serve. As are the sweet potato fries.
Me, I don’t give a rats for sweet potato fries, but then, I wasn’t eating them or paying.
Kawikamedia says it was good, he’ll be back, even tho it is within spitting distance, literally, from his favorite Pepper Cheeseburger, next door, at the Pickwick.
